About Dr.
Dr. Alejandro Torres is a compassionate general dentist and proud Rio Grande Valley native dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality dental care to the community he calls home. He earned his bachelor's degree in Biology from St. Edward's University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry. During college, Dr. Torres volunteered in Madurai, India, providing dental care to underserved patients — an experience that reinforced his passion for serving others. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he strives to make every patient feel comfortable and confident in their care. Outside the office, Dr. Torres enjoys running, playing soccer and basketball, watching horror movies, taking walks with his Pomeranian, Pixie, and spending time with his wife and family.
Fun Fact: His first trip outside the United States was to Madurai, India at 19, for dental volunteer work.
